Virtual Adaptive Surfing Championships 2020 – 100% Blind Surfer Mark Anthony Woodard Entry
(Planet Earth – September 13, 2020) In response to restrictions brought on by COVID-19, the world’s first-ever Virtual Adaptive Surfing Championship was formed. It is intended to be a free annual event and competitors participated from around the world. A multitude of divisions were represented and para surfers submitted up to 10 video entries of their rides. Three experienced judges assigned point values up to a perfect 10 and the two best waves determined placing. As of this writing, results are pending.
